The Opportunity

Livongo Health, part of Teladoc Health, is developing the latest and greatest remote monitoring technology for people living in chronic conditions. We are seeking an experienced part time Technical Writer who is a member of the product team. This individual will be responsible for creating, reviewing and releasing hardware and firmware technical documents. This individual works closely with product managers, engineers, and external design partners to transform design and verification artifacts into released documents in the quality management system. The successful applicant should have a strong background in technical writing, excellent communication skills, and teamwork spirit.

This is a part time contractor position that requires 10-20 hours each week.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hardware product development team members to gather required information to write and release effective product documentation following the established document standards
  • Review and edit the technical documents written by other teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, compliance, and quality
  • Release documents in the quality management system

Candidate Profile

  • Experience with writing documents for hardware products.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in technical writing.
  • The ability to fluently read, write and communicate medical product technical information in English.
  • A Bachelors’ degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
