Position Description

Work with 3rd party accessories makers to develop accessories for our HW devices. The Electrical Engineer will have the following responsibilities:

Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholder to define accessory requirements to seamlessly function with host device

Create validation test procedures to verify the system is functioning as intended

Review testing data for accuracy and compliance.

Perform testing as a confirmation of the data provided.

Work with 3rd Party Partners and our engineering on root cause/corrective action for 3P Partners accessories

Communicate results and suggested corrective actions to 3P Partners

The role will also include the following project management responsibilities:

First-line communication between 3rd party partner and our Engineering

Manage self daily tasks and priorities

Track all failures through root cause analysis, corrective action, new build, validation, and closure

The candidate should also be comfortable in a lab environment and using lab equipment (i.e. oscilloscope, multi-meter, electronic load, soldering iron, etc..)


BS degree in Electrical engineering

1-4 years of experience in HW Engineering

Experience in testing consumer electronics power systems

Experience in a lab environment and comfortable using lab equipment (i.e. oscilloscope, multi-meter, electronic load, soldering iron, etc..)


Consumer electronic hardware experience, ideally with some experience in the accessories industry Experience with Linux, Python, USB BC 1.2, USB Type C, USB Power Delivery, Self-starter with ability to conceive of and accept responsibility for projects and see them through to completion, must be able to work as an individual contributor and to contribute as part of a larger team Deadline and detail-oriented. Exceptional problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills Excellent written and oral communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions. Proven ability to work as part of a fast-paced team

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $72.00 - $78.00 per hour
